1. A glimpse of the AI era from the treatment room
Just a moment ago, a 39-year-old man finished his wrist treatment and left.
During treatments, I often talk with younger people.
I am curious about how far their thinking has come,
and how they are living in this era—
because their reality will soon become ours.
By the end of the conversation, the topic turned to Artificial Intelligence (AI).
He explained that the fashion industry now actively uses AI.
Instead of human models, clothes are displayed on AI-generated models.
There is no need for model fees, photographers, or studios.
Time, labor, and costs are dramatically reduced.
He said the difference is so large that it cannot even be compared.
2. Those who adapt, and those who fall behind
But is everyone keeping up this way?
Younger people adapt relatively easily,
while older generations often cannot even begin without help from their children.
Even people of his own age, he said, are only just starting.
Listening to this, one thought became clear.
If you fail to keep up with the times, you fall behind—plain and simple.
In business, especially clothing retail, everything is ultimately judged by profit.
If you don’t adapt, profits shrink,
and eventually, even catching up becomes difficult.
Anyone running a clothing shop needs to start changing today.
3. A conversation with a pastor who does not use AI
A few days ago, I treated another man—
and only later did I learn that he was a pastor.
I casually said,
“With AI these days, preparing sermons must be much easier.”
He replied that he does not use AI.
At that moment, I thought he might misunderstand the role of AI
or simply not be familiar with it.
So I explained how I personally use it.
4. AI as another tool for understanding Scripture
When reading the Bible,
I used AI to visualize the structure of the altars built by the Israelites,
and then recreated them in 3D.
Understanding became far easier than reading text alone.
The same applied to the Temple of Jerusalem
and the geographical locations of biblical cities—
once visualized through AI, they became immediately clear.
That is why today,
I want to share one practical example
of how AI can be used as a tool for reading and understanding Scripture.
5. A question that arose while reading Genesis, eight years ago
Eight years ago, while reading the Bible, a question came to mind.
Although I had read Genesis dozens of times,
I always found the genealogies dull—
who lived how long, who begot whom.
Then one day, I thought:
“If this is recorded in such detail, there must be a reason.”
So I created a chronological chart.
From Adam to Noah,
I calculated each person’s birth and death year.
I even showed the chart to my children,
though I wondered whether they would truly understand it. (laughs)
6. Eight years later, confirmed again by AI
Today—just one hour ago—
I showed that same chart, created eight years ago, to an AI.
The AI checked the calculations one by one and said:
“Most of this is accurate. Only minor wording adjustments are needed for clarity.”
Based on materials created around 2018, “Our Family Story” was published in 2019, not as a commercial work but as a family record, with only three copies produced.
What follows is a revised summary,
based on the original chart,
reviewed together with AI.
7. Reexamining Adam and Noah through chronology
According to the Bible, Noah is the ninth descendant of Adam.
1.
Adam lived to be 930 years old
and witnessed the birth of all his direct descendants up to Lamech,
with the sole exception of Noah.
Chronologically, Adam did not live to see Noah’s birth.
2.
At the time of Noah’s birth,
the only living ancestors were his father Lamech
and his grandfather Methuselah.
All earlier generations—from Adam through Enoch—
had already passed away.
3.
Methuselah, Noah’s grandfather,
is calculated to have died in the same year the Flood occurred.
4.
Lamech, Noah’s father,
died approximately five years before the Flood.
5.
Traditionally, Noah is understood to have prepared the ark for about 120 years.
Chronological calculation shows that for roughly 115 of those years,
both his father Lamech and his grandfather Methuselah were still alive.
Methuselah lived until the completion of the ark,
while Lamech lived until about five years before the Flood.
8. Why I wrote this
I wrote this for two reasons.
First,
to encourage the use of Artificial Intelligence—
not as a replacement for faith,
but as a tool for understanding.
Second,
to correct a common misunderstanding about Noah.
Noah is often portrayed as a solitary figure,
building the ark alone in loneliness.
But chronological calculation shows
that his father and grandfather were with him for most of that time.
Moreover,
when those men were born,
Adam himself was still alive.
When Scripture is read casually,
the period from Adam to the Flood feels vast and distant.
But when the years are calculated,
it becomes clear that these figures
coexisted within what amounts to only one or two generations.
This is what I came to understand through long reading of the Bible—
and what I was able to confirm again today through AI—
and what I wish to share with those who love Scripture.
Why record this now
If this had been published earlier,
no one would have been convinced.
Without checking the calculations,
it would have been dismissed as “just an interpretation.”
You can choose not to believe a person’s words.
But calculations are different.
This time,
it was not a person,
but an AI specialized in calculation
that reviewed the records.
If even AI confirms the calculations,
this is no longer an opinion.
It is a record.
That is why now.
From this point on,
those who do not believe must explain why.
The Bible was not written casually.
Every record within it exists for a reason.
